The ultimate Harry Potter day at Universal Orlando
As of right now, you can only park to park between Universal Studios Florida park and Islands of Adventure theme park, so this list will be combining everything Harry Potter for a perfect day for a Harry Potter fan.
Hagrids Motorbike adventure. Staying on property allows you to get in the park an hour prior to its official open which makes it the perfect time to ride this ride. The line can get quite long throughout the day but don’t fret because it is included with express pass if you make the splurge.
2. Harry Potter and the forbidden journey. The other ride I love to ride first thing is the ride in Hogwarts castle itself. It takes you all around Hogwarts through screens and animatronics making you feel like your flying on a broom.
3. breakfast at the three broomsticks. After a few early morning rides on rides it’s time for some grub. Breakfast here is delicious with American and British options everyone can enjoy.
Traditional English Breakfast
4. Ollivanders wand shop. This cute little store is not only full of wands but has a show inspired by the movie scene where Harry gets his wand but this time it’s a guest who gets chosen. After the show, you can go buy your own wand to cast spells around the lands of Harry Potter: Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, and Ministry of Magic.
5. Cast wand spells. Hogsmeade doesn't have the most spell spots, but they are fun.
6. Watch the stage shows. At around 10 am you can watch the stage shows as they start alternating for the day between triwizard spirit rally and frog choir. They aren’t longer than 10 min each but they are cute to watch for fans.
7. shopping. only a few shops here, but you can find some good stuff.
8. lunch at the three broomsticks. The rotisserie chicken is my favorite!
9. Hogwarts train to kings cross station. Its such a fun ride, watch the screen!
10. See the knight bus and watch kreacher peek out the window.
11. Harry Potter and the escape from gringotts. This is a fun 4D ride inspired by the gringotts scene in the deathly hollows movie.
12. Watch the stage shows. In Diagon Alley, the shows are Celestina Warbreck and Tales of Beedle the Bard. I personally love the tales one its a puppeteer show of the tale of 3 brothers.
13. gringotts money exchange. go exchange your muggle money for wizard money and ask a question!
14. cast your spells. They have so many great spots here! Definitely check out knock turn alley under the black light, you may find hidden spells.
15. shopping. lots of great shops here including Weasleys wizard wheezes.
16. dinner at the leaky cauldron. this place has more of British food options but its still good.
17. dessert at florean Fortescue’s. ice cream is always a good idea and they have butterbeer ice cream!
18. train back to hogsmeade. get your photo going though platform 9 3/4
19. Hogwarts castle show. when they offer one its so pretty!
